Welcome! I am Peta Di Benedetto and we live in
semi-rural Yarrambat,on 5 acres of land,we have
kangaroosand echidnas in our paddocks.We have a
small hobby cattery & breed burmese cats
My family and I became addicted to the Burmese
breed after I purchased my first Burmese, Casinara
Brandi who we went on to show.
With no distinguishing wins to her career, she went on
to have a litter of kittens. Among them was a girl I
called Kimlai Gypsy Queen. She won Best group 3
Kitten at her first show, and I was addicted to the
show bug!
From there we purchased our chocolate queen,
Sondara Sweet Melody, from her producing our
beautiful Kimlai Snowflake Pixie, From her we
produced our first stud cat,Kimlai Teshani Sprite.
We were on our way!
We are a registered Cattery with the Governing Cat
Council Australia (Vic)
We also have a dog, and several chooks .
Over the years we have been showing our best and
working toward our brown breeding program, of which
we are now very proud . We also enjoy breeding the
dilute colours,Lilac,and chocolate and the torties
occasionally!

The Burmese cat is naturally a desperate daredevil,
although many breeders appreciate its silky smooth fur
and yellow eyes as examples of elegance. This is an
exclusively amiable, gentle and playful creation.
Without a drop of aggression towards people, this unique
animal is gentle and calm, but at the same time playful
and mentally alert. This is a cat that never bares its
claws, making it well suited to families with small
children. Like a dog, this cat, although staunchly
independent, will always follow you around, adores
sleeping in your lap or on your shoulders, and at your
disposal will curl up on your chest under a blanket :) This
is a cat with dignity, born to rule over and to win your
heart.
They are omnivorous and unfussy, seldom ill, passionate
about their personal grooming, and tidy. Burmese cats
make excellent pets. Their smooth, short coats are easy
to look after. They are more clever and loving than the
majority of cats, and over all possess an amazing
individuality. They simply adore people, get along well
with children and dislike being alone. This is a pet,
without which you simply cannot live!
